Every year at back to school period, it’s the same catchphrase. We want to be (again) first in the class! Should we make summer last or approach with serenity the emerging fall? And why not both! no pressure, this season, there is trends for everyone: Rock’n’roll baby doll dresses, cowboy influences, forever and again leopard prints, very long chic and comfortable silhouettes, a 70s tornado, and more and more the great influence of sport (even for those who don’t work out …) back to school 2020, some ideas of looks.
You probably have noticed this (huge) trend: grunge is indeed on the fashion scene this fall! But in order not to look too scruffy, we focus on balance, as always. This time, we dare the baby doll dress in a rock’n’roll version. In real life ? Wear a basic t-shirt over a printed strappy dress, a cargo-inspired jacket and don’t forget the final touch, lace-up rangers!
At La Grande Boutique, we like silhouettes that are not first degree. As a result? We’re taking the army trend and doing something cool with it. Demonstration with the cargo jumpsuit that we wear in a feminine way (and more stylish than ever) with a neckline that reveals subtle lace, a printed belt, and lace-up rangers. Yes sir!
We may never have been in the American West, but this urge to dress like a modern cowboy is growing more and more. Who’s responsible? The trend that brings us a highly desirable revisited Calamity Jane. We say yes to cowboy boots matching a delicate feminine blouse. To complete this uniform? Fashionable jeans, like a Crossover pair designed by R13.
It’s almost every season that the leopard print is trendy. And it’s been a while since we completed our wardrobe with great leo touches. This fall again, we are melting (we go too!) on this timeless and feminine print. The novelty? We mix it with stripes, other prints, or our favorite basics … In short, it matches just about everything. Morality, who says leopard says not to hesitate!
The catch with being chic is that it is (sometimes if not often) not very comfortable. Good news! The wheel has turned … and stopped on the trendy square. This season, we opt for very long, fluid, and therefore very comfortable, but beware, very chic silhouettes with feminine boots and crazy prints. Obviously, that’s a big yes!
Inspired by the Hedi Slimane show for Celine, the 70s wind is blowing very hard on our wardrobes this season! The 2020 version? A glamorous decade to wear with super feminine accessories like high heeled boots and a silk lavalier blouse. Conqueror and trendy, we are completely retro!
What’s the trend that has everything to please us? She mixes several! Like this urban sport look that flatters our gymnast soul (yes, yes) and which is full of pieces as we like. Adopt a trucker-neck sweater as you can see absolutely everywhere these days, put on leopard leggings (see what we think of the leopard print above), and put on your finest sneakers to run around. Yes, this uniform is not going to leave you, but we think it’s a good idea!
