This is quite an obvious question when you see cowboy boots. Ok, I like them, but how and when do I put them on ? A bit like glitter pants, cowboy boots are the fashion piece that looks great on the catwalk but can immediately be less effective at home. We promise no one will call you John Wayne at the cafeteria or ask you where your horse is parked outside of school thanks to the looks we have put together for you. Because it was without counting on our favorite designers who had (a little) planned everything. Their cowboy boots are the genuine cowboy pair of shoes with a pointed toe and beveled heel but the designers’ good idea was to modernize them a little. Lucky us. Then, by following a few basic rules, such as avoiding a fringed leather jacket or a turquoise jewelry set so as not to give the impression of coming straight from a squaw tribe, everything should be easy. Modern and pretty cowboy boots ? Is it possible ? Of course. Wearing cowboy boots like wearing sneakers ? Still yes. The proof in pictures.
Massive and therefore rather very visible on a silhouette, cowboy boots are accessories around which we build a look and not the opposite. With all-purpose boots, we tell ourselves that everything goes with them, we can add them last. Here, we reverse the way we are going to build our look. We start from the accessory, and we go up. To balance it all, the idea of the skirt is rather excellent, since it brings back the balance on the side of femininity and grace (just that). If you want to keep your comfort quotient, you keep your sweatshirt or put on a comfortable sweater.
Mission number one when we decide to wear cowboy boots ? Bring it back to a concrete universe, that is to say in our daily life and fashion. Forget the wild west, the lasso (who still uses a lasso today, huh ?), the saloon, etc. We have an almost normal (normal ? again, this is not the point !) modern woman’s life, and we want to keep our identity while wearing these shoes without looking ridiculous. Challenge accepted ! We choose a slightly improved version of the cowboy boots, the one with a very beveled heel and a spur and we balance out the look with our most beautiful basics. Concretely, it means leopard jeans, a comfortable all-purpose sweatshirt and a tailored jacket which is a bit like icing on a cake, the little final touch that changes everything.
It’s a bit like our fashion haven, what we want to wear when we don’t know what to wear: the bohemian dress ! Ideal with cowboy boots to balance the silhouette, we like it fluid and airy if it’s printed it’s even better. Until the temperatures go up, we put on a nice comfortable mesh over it, it will be perfect. When comfort, style and trend are combined, suddenly, we dare the white cowboy boots !
Who said that the cowboy boots couldn’t be chic ? We love challenges at La Grande Boutique ! And we like rock looks with a twist, so it’s done ! Long live the red cowboy boots that are more fashionable than ever and which immediately give the final touch of an outfit. Then, we have fun… We put on our favorite jeans, the beautiful black slim that highlights us and we mix with a chic blouse and a sweatshirt that spreads the message, in case it had not been heard yet: Rebellion !
You don’t like pumps for going out at night, and you’re not the type of girl to dance in sneakers ! You have a complicated life, that’s right. Fortunately, this season, cowboy boots are trendy and offer you a plethora of look possibilities, including the one of dressing up your evening outfits. The best option ? Miniskirt for the legs to sublimate the boots, compared to the fact that we are proud to be in cowboy boots, and a simple t-shirt with beautiful accessory. It’s useless to say it, but it is always the girls who seem to have dressed up in three minutes who are the most stylish. Have you always wanted to join this club ? It’s time.
