Indian summer is a period not defined in the calendar but very clear on the thermometer: it is still hot and sometimes cold in the same day! It’s no longer summer when it’s almost autumn and we’re already talking about winter. It is cool in the morning and hot in the afternoon. Not all that easy! Wouldn’t spring be a little different? Not wrong! The best solution is to play onion and put on your favorite clothes from each season. Understand we layer the layers like an onion, and we can wear a big jacket with a summer dress. What are the tips for getting the right look? Demonstration!
When the weather is still nice and you want to make summer last a little longer, bet on flowers. Nothing like a beautiful floral skirt by Isabel Marant Etoile! For mornings and cool temperatures, put on a light pink sweatshirt, as feminine as it is pleasant to wear, and complete the outfit with comfortable and ultra stylish boots. For that, there is no doubt that the Dicker signed Isabel Marant will be absolutely perfect!
Easy to wear, ideal in all circumstances, the bohemian dress ticks all the boxes, even in the weather with great variations. We love the idea of wearing a dress with boots without tights, to postpone winter as long as possible. Feminine with a colored messenger bag, it is perfect.
Back on the trendy and ultra-comfortable scene, the long denim skirt has become one of our favorite pieces this summer. Good news, Indian summer is the ideal time to continue wearing it! With sneakers and a floral blouse, we adopt this casual look. Cool mornings? A colorful sweater or a coordinating sweatshirt will perfectly complete the ensemble.
As we’ve said, the key to a successful look for the Indian summer is to focus on layering. In the morning it can be very cool while in the afternoon it feels like summer. How to manage both seasons in one day? Diapers! Opt for a long skirt with beautiful boots which will take care of the elegant side of the outfit and put on a t-shirt. You will be comfortable as soon as the thermometer rises. Above ? A comfortable sweater, a sweatshirt, a nice jacket. It’s your desire of the day that decides!
For some people, it’s the end of summer the day we change the time, the day the thermometer drops below 15 degrees or simply the day we put on tights for the first time. If there is one criterion over which we have power, it is that of tights. Wear your skirts with bare legs as long as possible. Keep wearing your summer skirts, even if you put on a big sweater in the morning because it’s starting to get chilly. This is precisely, exactly, the concept of Indian summer.
