You will always recognize a silhouette designed by Isabel Marant, made of large proportions of flowery prints and rock details, dizzying heights and shoulders as straight out of the 80s, but each Fashion Week of the Parisian designer is every season different.
Under the huge glass roof set up for the occasion in the Jardins du Palais Royal, Isabel Marant’s collection for next winter is intended to be worn by powerful women and honestly, also incredibly beautiful ones. Are they going to show their legs? Yes two times, with thigh-high boots that might make you lose your head, very very short skirts shouting “I do what I want”. We love the mix of genres: floral dresses (why not in winter) that are worn under a huge men’s blazer, mountain spirit twisted sweaters worn with a high belt and then become more chic than ever, the glitter touch that we suddenly dares during the day with leather pants, because “it looks cool”. Very military-inspired looks with cargo pants, in khaki and sand paddles, Isabel Marant excels in the art of making volume so chic and the laid-back silhouette so feminine. These women who wear coats to the skin, just with thigh-high boots, they dare. And that is perhaps what we will remember from the show. Dare the glitter during the day, wear a very short skirt, or even not to wear it and just put a very long sweater as a dress with high boots, it’s a vision of modernity and that’s exactly what we come for each season.

Cargo pants (jewelry, of course!) And revisited mountain sweater, the winning mix!
Let's go back to basics … a coat and boots and you're done!
A printed dress with waders? But yes!
A long sweater worn as a dress + waders = what else?
