French Days or private sales? It’s the same ! These are our French Black Fridays, so no matter which name they are given … what matters is that the fashion pieces on which we slur (drool?) for weeks are on sale. The hardest remains to be done? To choose … Carole Galvez, founder of La Grande Boutique, gives you a helping hand and makes you a list of her must-haves. As the one who loves beautiful basics that are easy to wear every day and also glittery tops for a coffee, she is the person to follow without any doubt in fashion. “When the sun is not there yet, it is perfect to wear it over skinny jeans, or underneath an oversize sweater to play with the layers. In summer, however, we’ll just have to put on a pair of K.Jacques. I like the mix of genres, the masculine spirit of the stripes borrowed from the male wardrobe and its Djellaba vibe. Finally, I like the idea that a dress does not make a “girl” look and that we can feminize it by opening the buttons up to make a nice neckline.
Its + product? I love dresses with pockets.
A timeless piece to wear both in the city and on the beach. ”

“The Isabel Marant tote with its glossy red leather is my it bag. It is always difficult to find a nice bag, with the right shape, the right material, the right color and that remains practical. I can take Arthur everywhere (it’s not a little dog but my computer that I never leave;) !!!) And when I go back home at night, I can put my baguette in it. It can be worn on the shoulder if needed but I find it more chic hold by hand. And finally red is my favorite color in the summer. It boosts any look in three seconds. This summer I will also take him to the beach, he must take a vacation too …. “
“The black leather biker jacket is a must-have that one must have in one’s wardrobe. For the mid-season, it’s perfect. When the coats are too hot for the temperature outside and it’s still cool. I wear it as soon as an outfit is a little too “girly” or too classic to break codes. It can even be worn on a dress, and during winter under a classic straight coat. When I say “must have”, I was not so far from the truth! I like this model for its very supple leather that is very comfortable to wear and especially I love silver zips that are not flashy … ”
My advice: never try the biker total look, it’s too much;)
“I’m not going to lie, I only have one. But it’s a must in a wardrobe when you want to be chic even with jeans. This one is light and its sky blue wash is a plus in my denim collection. I love its vintage look. I wear it when my husband invites me to a fancy restaurant, and I put it on with a pair of red-heeled boots. I think the sky color + red mix is beautiful. Out of inspiration? Bet on efficiency: a rock t-shirt, a pretty blazer and a black (or beige) pocket and you’re done. PS: we never match his bag with the color of my shoes, do you agree? ”

“The jean jackets, I could almost say that I collect them. There is always a detail or finish that is not on those I already have! For Golden Goose Deluxe Brand, the name in itself already makes me dream. I know that the designers of this brand always use the most beautiful denim, and that there’s always a detail in the cut, a finish that we would not find anywhere else. Sometimes, I know that some people can buy a very expensive dress knowing that they will wear it once, so I tell myself that I can put the price in a denim jacket that I wear all the time. And in private sales, I don’t think anymore, I go for it! “
“What do we wear all the time, that we collect and that we love to complete our look? Sneakers … I’m like everyone else, I love sneakers but this season I want to wear runnings. I do not like the oversize model that weighs down the silhouette, so I like Isabel Marant’s running very much. I love their little “vintage streetwear” side that we will not see everywhere. The colorama is different from white sneakers and its retro look is really fashionable at the moment! “
